The 10th annual festival of Jazz in Martinborough returns this year from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 September, with two ticketed concerts in the fabulous Martinborough Town Hall and many free gigs at local bars, cafes and restaurants.The festival kicks-off on Friday, 3 September when award-winning pianist Duncan Haynes presents tunes that celebrate legendary jazz vocalists. On Saturday 4 September the sensational Miho's Jazz Orchestra play a unique blend of world music and jazz. Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
