Police appeal for information after rare stag killed in Wairarapa
A rare trophy red stag worth more than $40,000 was shot and killed in its enclosure in Martinborough on the weekend.
Wairarapa Police are appealing for information about the incident, which occurred on Blue Rock Rd between 10am Saturday and 10am Sunday.
Anyone with information about the incident was urged to contact their local Police or call 105, quoting file number 190728/3019.
Information can also be provided anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
