Greytown RSA
To assist veterans, service people and our RSA widows and widowers, the RSA has a welfare fund. This can be used to assist with such things as hearing aids, glasses...even a load of firewood.
We are looking for a volunteer to take over the rôle of Welfare Support Person to administer requests and assist where necessary. Full training will be given. At present, there are few requests and we would like to see this grow.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
