Would you be interested in a milk delivery in Wairarapa?

Georgia Reporter from Stuff

The clink of bottles of full cream milk being dropped off early in the morning may no longer be a distant memory if a Wairarapa food producer gets enough takers. Eketahuna Country Meats is setting up a milk processing plant with plans to bring glass bottles of the good stuff to Wellington markets, and possibly doorsteps.

The producer already has a presence at three of the capital's most popular weekend markets and has just started a campaign to gauge demand for household delivery of farm fresh milk. Are you interested?

The milk will be pasteurised, but will not be homogenised, so it will retain the creamy top that traditional full cream milk has. It is estimate the milk with sell in glass bottles at $3.50 a litre, and be slightly cheaper if customers bring in their own clean bottles to be filled. Read more here.

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?
