Carterton and South Wairarapa people are paying up to 20 times for their CEOs compared with big cities. What do you think of that?

Small town ratepayers are forking more than $20 each in places for country council bosses on big city salaries.
Residents in the Wairarapa's Carterton district, with its population of 8,900, pay their chief executive the equivalent of $23 each to meet her $205,000 salary.
