Blue flowered delicate climber - potted
Name: Asarina.
This delicate climber with heart shaped leaves flowers all Summer with thumb sized purple/blue flowers. It needs something to climb up , but it can grow in hanging basket too. Does well up a verandah pillar or trellis.
They can be frost tender and this plant would probably be better wintered over in its pot in a sheltered spot before planting out in the Spring. Its been growing in a shady area so would also need protection from hot burning sun also.
Easy to grow.
