Blackcurrant plant.....potted

Joan from Masterton District

This healthy little Blackcurrant plant is about 30 or 40 cms high. Will put on quite a bit of growth through the Summer.
Blackcurrants ripen just before Christmas. I've had them for years with no known diseases. No need to spray them.
Great for making jam or blackcurrant fruit juice.
You do not need to top and tail them as you might Gooseberries before you eat or cook them.

The plant pictured in the pot is the one for sale. Will pay for itself in a few years. Theyre are quite a good hedge too, though they do lose their leaves in the winter. A metre or so high windbreak perhaps.

Thanks for looking.
Pickup is in Kuripuni
