Bearded Iris JADE.....large pot full
I first saw this tall bearded iris growing in a large clump and I was mesmerized by it.
Shades of white yellow and chartreuse with plum flecks. It flowers at this time of the year.
It is part Aril bred but not enough to be classified as an Aril.
There is heaps of rhizomes in this large pot full. It is crammed.
Bearded iris are easy to grow. They like the sun, and don't mind the frost at all.
Tall flower spikes appear in the flowering season with large flowers arrayed up the stems coming out in succession.
Thanks for looking.
Pickup is in Kuripuni.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
