Weather Warning in SWDC
Kia ora,
Strong winds impacted the power supply in South Wairarapa yesterday, and caused some damage to the electrical equipment at our Waiohine Water Treatment Plant. Our team are managing the supply, and continuing to meet the demand of residents in the area.
MetService have issued a weather warning for high winds tomorrow night, which has the potential to cause further damage and add additional strain to the water supply. We are asking that residents in South Wairarapa be extra mindful with their water use over the next 24 hours, to minimise the risk of our supply running low in the event of further weather damage.
Further updates will be provided if needed.

Featherston Memorial RSA: Music Quiz this Friday
The Featherston Memorial RSA’s next quiz is being hosted by the Featherston Vinyl Club this Friday 20th February.
Put a team together, test your musical knowledge and support the upkeep of the building, and new equipment for the Vinyl Club.
