Wairarapa Fabric Fair 2021
Once again we are holding our annual Fabric Fair at South End School to raise funds for King Street Art Works. On these cold winter days it is a good time to go through those cupboards and drawers to see if you have enough of a stash to hire a table and make a little money or donated to our sales table. If this is not you just mark the 4th September in your diary and come along on the day! We are fortunate that the Carterton Central Lions are running the Fab Cafe again this year, so while you browse you can get a hot drink and some home baking. See you there!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
