Remutaka Road Closure April 11th

Just a reminder that State Highway 2 over the Remutaka Hill will be closed for one night from 9 pm this Sunday night 11 April to 4 am Monday morning 12 April.
This 1-night closure allows our road crews to safely undertake essential maintenance and slip prevention works.
Free shuttle service available
If you need to get over the hill for night work or essential commitments, please email remutaka@nzta.govt.nz as soon as possible to book your place on the shuttle service.
Access will always be available for emergency services throughout the closure.
