From today, Friday 26 March, the Total Outdoor Water Ban will be eased in Featherston and Greytown.
Thanks to the response from the community, the two towns are now in a space to move down restriction level and can water gardens using handheld methods. Well done, thanks for your action ๐
This is a good position to be in, but itโs important that people keep being responsible with water usage. ๐
This restriction allows for the use of handheld watering methods, between the hours of 6-8 am and 7-9pm only on alternate days according to your house number.
๐ odd-numbered houses on odd dates (1st, 3rd, 15th etc)
๐ even-numbered houses on even dates (2nd, 4th, 18th etc)
Leaks in our system can be an issue, so please check your water meter.
