Blue flowered climber....Asarina SOLD

Joan from Masterton District

This dainty climber has thumb sized blue flowers, likes a sunny position with reasonably supply of water, and flowers all through the Summer. It is not invasive.
It likes to climb up a trellis, or tree trunk, can last several seasons, though now and again new little plants self seed and can be grown in its place.
It is reasonably frost tender, but I have had them get a little frosted but come away again in the Spring.

I have never seen it for sale in plant shops. I got it originally many years ago when I visited a home where it was growing, admired it and was given some seeds.

Name: Asarina
The last photo is the plant for sale in the blue pot. The other photos are from my parents plants.

Pickup is in Kuripuni.
Thanks for looking.

I have only one potted plant of this at the moment.

Price: $12

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
