How To Be Inarguable

Alister from South Dunedin

People often love to weigh in on our choices & decisions. I have always trusted my gut or intuition. Those close to us can convince us that we need to justify our decisions to them using logic however this can be a downward spiral of crazy-making-ness 😖. Those close to us can convince us that we need to justify our decisions to them using logic however this can be a downward spiral of crazy-making-ness 😖. Yes I made that word up just then 😁🤩. If you know in your heart ❤ that something is right for you and you say you are doing it because that is how you feel - no-one can say that's wrong. Because that IS how you feel. If we let logic in on our "higher self" it can talk us out of anything... just because it can. It doesn't know what is right for us. Our higher self/universe/god does - tap in, listen, believe, receive.

Dunedin wants to become one of the "world's great small cities", and a redesigned central business district is a big part of that plan.

A report from O3 Collective notes there is an opportunity for the city's main street to become a destination ''that people want to spend time in and is a lively and active place to do business''.

The project, to be discussed by the city council on Monday, could include wider footpaths, more seating, increased planting, reduced speed for motorists, and better access to car park buildings.

Read more about the report and what it proposes here.

Laura Procter is working 12-hour days but her phone is going non-stop with constant requests for bookings.

That was unlikely as the owner of Bad Hair is fully booked-up until late June.

''The majority of people have been so lovely and so supportive, but there have been a couple of people who have been so ridiculous it makes you want to hide under your desk,'' the Dunedin hairdresser said. Continue reading here.
