Evacuation at Otago Boys' High School
Emergency services were called to Otago Boys' High School around 7:45am this morning after a threat was made.
There are cordons in the area and all roads leading to the school are blocked. The school has advised parents that their children are safe at school and to please not try to collect them. Scheduled exams will still take place.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
