Thursday 8/12/2016....Let's bake cookies. Bring your own recipe, a pound of butter, your kids and enthusiasm and let's start the bake-a-thon. From 4-8pm we'll be cooking at Dunedin North Intermediate. All baked goods will be donated to Kaikoura and Dunedin foodbanks - cos we looooove giving at this time of the year especially ;-) You will get to take home a mixed bag of cookies of course ;-)
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
