stolen car
We live on Sparks Rd In Halswell and got burgled 2 nights in a row Saturday and Sunday and had a car stolen. I would appreciate knowing about any sightings of a Mitsubishi Chariot, its a 1992 older looking car , white with faded gold band around the base. Small people mover 7 seater family type of car that looks like a station wagon. It has a small dent in the right rear corner around the bumper area. The licence plate it had with us is YT1791 however it may have been changed. It has silver coloured roof rails parallel along the car to fix roof rack onto. It has a chrome colour roo bar on the front and Chrome coloured mirrors. The interior is tan coloured upholstery with a medium brown dashboard and steering wheel. Please message me with any info that can help get it back. The registration is valid till July 2018 .THANK YOU!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
