Our wonderful fun-filled daughter of Sier Vermunt, sister and sister-in-law of Gabrielle and Daniel McKenzie, Eleanor and Ollie Farnsworth, Jane and Will Perry, and her brother Matthew Vermunt. Aunty to Elsie, Halle and new born baby McKenzie, Beau and Monty Farnsworth, and Rose Perry and William Vermunt. Granddaughter of Pauline Tangiora and the late Paschasius (Sier) Vermunt.
Her spirit is now free.
A Celebration of Libby’s life will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Interment at Eastern Cemetery to follow. Libby will be resting at home at 26 Waihopai Street from Saturday. ALLAN, Thirza Marie

On February 24, 2023 (aged 89) at Lady Diana Isaac Retirement Village, Christchurch. Beloved wife of Doug (deceased), mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Andy Munro, Donald, Neroli and Geoff Inkersell, Graeme and Janet. Much loved Nana of Stuart, James and Dougald, Fi, Rob and Anna, Emma and Ben. Great-Nana to 10 adoring great-grandchildren. A private ceremony to celebrate Thirza’s full life was held last Thursday with the family. Thirza has been laid to rest with Doug at the Ellesmere Cemetery. Special mention to the amazing staff of the Special Care Unit at Lady Diana Isaac Retirement Village for their wonderful care of Thirza over the past 5 years.

HARLEN, Rosalie (nee Burton)

Passed away peacefully December 31st, 2022 surrounded by close family. In accordance with Mums (Rosalie’s wishes) she was cremated on January 1, 2023 again with close family only in attendance. There will be a Memorial Service to be held at Marsden Valley Cemetery (stage 26) on April 8, Easter Saturday. Time 10.30am, where there will also be an unveiling of a new headstone commemorating John, Wayne and now Rosalie Harlen. Friends of Dad, Wayne and Rosalie are welcome. A morning tea / lunch will be held at 26 Bishopdale Avenue following the graveside service.
