WOOD, Molly‘MAMA’

Aged 92 years. From your ‘60 something’ son that in your eyes, was still your ‘boy’. Thank you for the years you gave me, for the ‘advice’ you offered me - even when I did not want it – although I often needed it; never ceasing to give me love, hugs and emotional support; paying my bills when I was skint, including helping with home purchases; welcoming Alejandra into your life with such kindness and generosity; allowing me to share your home with you this year while I cared for you and together we laughed, cried, ate, drank and reminisced, and thank you for every night that we prayed together. The older I have grown the better I have understood you, and the smarter you have become, you were and are my treasure Mama, and I am proud to be your boy forever. Love from Shane
