GOUDIE, David John

Died suddenly on 10 June 2023 at Hutt Hospital, in his 83rd year. Dearly beloved son of the late Mick and Norrie Goudie. Dearly beloved brother and brother-in-law of Susan and the late Gavin Muir, Judy and Henare Tihema. Also much loved by Julia Zhu, his adopted daughter and her husband Albert and their daughters, Tina and Ellen. Loving Uncle to his nieces and nephews. David will be known to many in Hutt City for owning two businesses, The Bees Knees café in Dudley Street and lastly the Community Print Shop. The family would like to acknowledge the care given to David by the staff at Hutt Hospital and Elderslea Dementia Unit where he had been a resident since November 2022. A Celebration of David’s life will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, 665 High Street, Lower Hutt, on Thursday, 15th June at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation at Karori Crematorium.
