WARD, Michael Joseph
Peacefully at home on June 9, 2023; aged 75 years. Dearly beloved youngest child of the late Nonie and Ted Ward. Dearly loved brother of Sr Margaret RSM (deceased), Monsignor Patrick (deceased), Edward and Norah. Much loved brother-in-law of Tom Patterson (deceased). A loved and special uncle of Anne-Maree, Christopher and Sarah; Michael, Jane, Kenneth, Mary, Susan and Thomas, and many great nieces and great-nephews. Special thanks to Michael’s carers for their love and support, especially Anna, Sue, Denisse, Liz, Rocio, Sheree, Susan and Stacey. May he rest in peace. A Requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Church, 90 Greers Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
