On 8th June 2023 peacefully with his whanau. Aged 88. Dearly loved husband of Pat. Loved father of Marama, Kura and Ana. Much loved Grandad of Jimi, Bonnie and Brock, Great-Grandad of Huia, Ziggy and Awanui, Father-in-law of Craig and Joseph. A service to celebrate Vel’s life will be held at Haven Falls Funeral Home, 42-50 Burden Ave, Wainuiomata, on Tuesday 13 June 2023 at 11.15am. Hkari is at Te Rau Karamu Marae, Massey University, Tasman Street, E Entrance at 1pm.
