BARKER, Janice Elizabeth (Jan)(née Walker)
Passed away peacefully at Eldon Lodge, Paraparaumu, on June 6, 2023, in her 82nd year. Dearly loved wife, companion, and mate for 59 years of Rhys; much loved mother and mother-in-law of Evan and Katherine, Lynley and Barry, Fiona and François; devoted and much adored Grandma to Luke and Sophie, Raphaël and Isabelle; loved sister and sister-in-law of Erice and the late Keith Carley. Daughter of the late Jim and Eileen Walker, of Whanganui. Special thanks to the Community Health Service team, nurses and staff of Eldon Lodge, and Mary Potter Hospice for their skilled and compassionate care. A service to farewell Jan and celebrate her life will be held at Cedarwood, 17-21 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 1.30pm.
