HYNDMAN, John William

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 4th June 2023, in his 79th year, at Tauranga Hospital after a long struggle with cancer. Dearly loved husband, soulmate, and best friend to Jill. Devoted Dad to Michael, Kym and Peter Kraaykamp. Best ever Grandad John to Charlotte, Sophie and Emily.

We are so grateful to Dr Jess, Dr Jonathan and the doctors, nurses, health care workers and all other staff at the Tauranga Hospital and Canopy Cancer Care who have all shown such loving care and empathy to John during his long journey of this illness. Also big thanks to family, friends and neighbours for their love and support these past two years. In accordance with John’s wishes, a private family service will be held, with a Celebration of John’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ.
