Peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 4, 2023, after a short illness; in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of the late Jean. Much loved father and father-in-law of Sue and Gerard Coll, Margy and Paul Wanty, Lyn and Brendan Cox, and Robyn Anderson. Beloved grandad of his 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jim, Ailsa Marychurch (dec), Melba Lord, Jean and Fraser Aitken, and a much loved uncle. A service to celebrate Roly’s life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
