KURESA, Tuimaseve Poliko Matua

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Christchurch Hospital on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, aged 61 years. Loved husband of Tumema Kuresa, dedicated father of Marina and Rev. Samuelu Lene, Jade and Wikitoria, Pu’apu’a and Alex, Lagi and Mani, and Fogafu and Junior, loving granddad and papa of all his grandchildren. Loved son of the late Valuniu Uesiliana and Fogaafu Kuresa, brother of Matua Tafia and Vikili, Lagi, the late Matavao Atina’e, Wes and Tia, Conley and Jazz, and Nesa and Carlos, loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Tuimaseve Poliko’s life will be held at ILT Stadium Southland, Isabella Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 9.30am, followed by interment at the Eastern Cemetery. The family wishes to acknowledge the doctors and nurses at Te Whatu Ora, Southern (Emergency Department), the helicopter service staff, and the doctors and nurses at Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha (ICU Department).
