PHILPS, Mary Anne (nee Smith)

Born in Waimate on September 15, 1933, passed away peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, Dunedin, on May 28, 2023; in her 90th year. Beloved daughter of the late James and Bessie Smith, formerly of Waimate and then Dunedin. Beloved mother of Duncan (Auckland), and the late Alastair, dearest sister and sister-in-law of Michael and Jennifer Smith (Auckland), adored aunt of Holly and Ryan, Summer, and Derwin, great-aunt of Rosa, Archie, Otis, Floyd, and Etta (all of Auckland). Special friend and confidante of many during her long life of service in the nursing profession and the community in Dunedin, Melbourne and elsewhere.
