Dad slipped away peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Saturday, May 27 just shy of his 93rd birthday. Much loved husband of the late June. Treasured father of Guy & Sharon, Karen, David & Guity, JoAnne, Lesley (Lu), Liz & Pete. Grandad to Brad, Kyle, Laura, Darian, Ayden, Tahlia, Zoleila, Hayley, Samantha, Maddison, Trelise and Loran. Great-grandad of soon to be 14. A service to celebrate Derek’s life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Forest Lake, on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at 1.00pm.
