On May 27, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, after a short illness. Aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband and companion of Esther. Much loved father and father-in-law of Delwyn, Shane and Rachelle. Loving grandad of Hannah and Jonathan, Caleb and Tim; Blake, Logan, and Milly, and great-grandad of Abigail. A service for George will be held in the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall, Main Street, Methven, on Thursday, June 1, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Methven Cemetery.
