Heartbreakingly, Lyn passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Nelson Hospital after a sudden illness. Lyn was a loving mother to Mia and Kane and adored Nanny to Norton, Noah and much anticipated new Grandbaby due in October. Cherished daughter of the late Jenny and John (Wattie) Hawken and much loved by sisters Suzanne, Jillian, Shirley, Margaret and their families. Lyn has blessed so many people with her friendship, kindness and fun-loving approach to life, she will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. A service to celebrate Lyn’s life and farewell her on her next adventure with much love will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Alive Church of Christ, 374 High Street Motueka.
