041818 LCpl 2nd NZEF WW2 of Mosgiel, formerly of St Andrews Hill, Christchurch and Greymouth. Peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Birchleigh Residential Care Centre; aged 101 years. He enjoyed great support from Birchleigh staff over the last 3 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Veta, much loved father and father-in-law of Andrew (Andy) and Evelyn (Dunedin), loved grandad of Steven, Kathryn, and Craig and Kristin. A good life well lived. A service for Jack will be held in Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel at 2.00pm, on Tuesday, May 30, followed by private cremation.
