Peacefully at home, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023; aged 84 years. Cherished husband and mate of Robyn. Loving father and father-in-law of Carolyn and Ken, Stephen and Julie, Richard and Debra, Greg and Max, Janene (dec), and families. Treasured grandad of Lauren, James, Annalise, Maddy, Jasmin, Jacob and their families. Great-grandad of Emily, Eve, and Ottilie. Loved son of the late Myrtle and Jim. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Jim and Margaret Will (both dec), Stuart and Shirley Will (both dec), Kathleen and Colin Johnston, Trevor and Pene Will, Richard and Judy Dillon, Christine and Moray Todd, and the late Desmond Dillon. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Best mate of Gerald (G.I) Burgess. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at Temuka Trinity Presbyterian Church, Cnr Hally Terrace and Wilmhurst Street, Temuka, on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 1.00pm, followed by the interment at The Temuka Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance Temuka could be appreciated and may be left at the service.
