STONEHOUSE, Anne Torika (Raumua Tipo)(nee Hoerder)

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at The Oaks, aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George. Much loved and admired Mum of Aileen and Alan Peacock, Maureen and Carey Clark, and Torika and Stan de Rooy. Totally loved and devoted Nanny of Emily-Anne and Jake, Christianne and Sam; Grace and Ryan, Seth, and Josiah; Harrison, and Ava, and a loved Great-Nanny of Bailey. Anne will be sadly missed by her sisters Kitty Palmer, and Emily List, and her extended family in Fiji, Rotuma, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Thanks to all at The Oaks Care Centre and Village and Dr C Chin for their care and respect for Mum, and a special thank you to Angela. The Funeral Service for Anne will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Tuesday, May 30, at 11.00am. Interment thereafter in the Shands Road Cemetery.
