Death

Passed peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on May 21, 2023, aged 92 years. Loved wife of the late Peter, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Julie and Michael, Susan and Phil, treasured Grandma of Sarah, the late Michael, Katie and Hamish, Christine and Shane, Andrew, and Alex, and a Great-grandmother, loved Aunty, and special friend. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Elmswood Retirement Village, and the staff at Christchurch Hospital (Ward A5). In memory of Shona, donations to The Child Cancer Foundation would be appreciated and can be made online at childcancer.org.nz A Service to Celebrate Shona’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, May 26, at 10.00am.
