NELSON, Mervyn James
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mervyn James Nelson (“Merv”) on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Beloved husband to Tijani; cherished father and father-in-law to Anthony and Casey, Christie, and Clayton, and doting grandfather to Cyrah, Milán, Simone, Evelyn, and Lewis. Merv’s memory lives on through his loved ones. Merv was a brother and brother-in-law to Sheryl, and the late Bronwyn and John Evans. Merv will also be dearly missed by Joanna, Hemi, Ana and Fernalynn. In accordance with Merv’s wishes, a private family service has been held.
