On 9th May 2023 Chris passed away peacefully with long standing friends Bill & Louise, niece Tanya and nephew Asti at his side. Aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Hiroko Sakakibara. In his last few weeks, despite being in hospital, Chris was able to find delight in talking with his 8 much loved nephews and nieces around the world, and helping them reconnect with each other. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and is now reunited with his siblings and parents. A funeral service to remember Chris’ life will be held in The White Rose Chapel, 75 Cook Street, Hamilton, on Monday 15th May at 9.00am, followed by a private cremation.
