MERRIN, Barbara (nee Eder)
With much sadness we announce the passing of Barbara peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, in her 94th year, on May 10 2023, surrounded by her loving family. A loved wife and soulmate of Ronnie, together at last, mother and mother-in-law of Lynn and John, Pauline and Donald, Sandy and Steve, Nana of David and Nicola, Sarah and Nathan, Janelle and Kirk (deceased), Anna and Mitch, Andrew and Nicole, Rebecca and Travis and Matthew, and Great-Nana, Nana Barbara, and Nanskies of her 11 great-grandchildren. Words cannot describe our loss, and life without you will never be the same. Our memories of you will be cherished by us all. A huge thank you to St John’s and Christchurch Hospital staff for the great care of Barbara. As was Barbara’s wishes, a private funeral will be held.
