Loved wife of the late Des, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Pat (Gore), Desma and Doug Barrie (Cambridge), loved Nana of Andrenna and David Holmes (Brisbane), Maria Barrie and Jason Hanham (Cambridge), and great-Grandma of Ayla and William Holmes; and Emma Hanham. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Sylvia* and Jack* Ingram, Fred* and Jean* Proctor, Gordon* Proctor, Norman* and Gladys Proctor, Bill* Proctor, Keith* and Sally Proctor, Shirley and John Deans, also sister-in-law of Mollie* Simpson, Mac*, Alec* and Les* White and Dulcie* van Beek, loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Melba’s life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Saturday, May 13, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery.
