PYNENBURG, Jan Antoon Gerard (John)
Peacefully at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village, on 2 May 2023, aged 94 years. Much loved husband of Elizabeth for 65 years; loved father and father-in-law of Ron and Sue; Mike and Patricia; Chris and Lynda; and Karen and Bruce. Loved Opa of Sam and Rachael; Luke; Anna and Ellen; and Ashley and Carina. Great-Opa of Charlotte, Emily and Theo; and Este. Loved uncle of Craig, Mark and Scott (NZ) and his extended family in the Netherlands. Thanks to the nursing staff and carers at Shona for the loving care they showed John. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NZ Neurological Society in memory of John would be appreciated. His funeral service will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Monday 8 May 2023 at 10.30am, followed by private cremation.
