Suddenly passed away at home on Thursday 30 March 2023. Favorite husband (Babe) of Karen. The Old Man to Peter. Father to Jeni-Lee and grandfather to Tayezhian. Brother-in-law to Leo Bell. Brother and Uncle to Mahuru Whanau Martel (Ricky), Nat, Hiua, Go-Go, Boy-Boy. Brother to Kendall Whanau John, Felicity, Meihawa (deceased), Georgie, Chrissy (deceased), Eraini, Rawina, Charlie-Boy and Matt. Loud Uncle to many nieces and nephews that he loved so much. A funeral service to celebrate Ru’s life will be held at the Okaiawa Rugby Club, Normanby Road, on Thursday 6 April at 11.00am.
