FREESTONE, Walter Herbert (Bertie)
Peacefully passed away on the evening of March 24, 2023, at The Wood Rest Home, Nelson. Bertie was 94. A light-hearted, friendly soul with a great sense of humour, a love of adventure, music, the outdoors and animals, his was a life well lived. Loved father of Ginny, Nicola and Chrissy, grandfather of Bjorn, Nathan, Hannah and Tim, and great-grandfather to Evie and Ayla. Bertie has had a private cremation service.
