Prof. Dean. Dr (Phd). Of Paraparaumu. On Friday 24 March 2023, suddenly at Southland Hospital. Aged 74 years. Most amazing, incredible and adorable loving husband of Jane. Much loved brother of Liz Crook, and brother-in-law of David Crook (Dunedin); Darien Richardson (sadly now passed), Tom & Loretta Richardson (ChCh), and Gaynor (Ak) & Clive Cotton (also sadly passed). Very adored uncle of Gregor, André, Penny, Alistair, Kim, Mark, and partners, and great-uncle of 7. A celebration of John’s life will be held at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 6 April 2023 at 2.00pm, to be followed by private cremation.
