RASMUSSEN, Robert James (Bob)
On March 28, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital following a short illness, with family by his side, aged 85 years. Much loved husband and companion of the late Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Chrissie, Grant and Janine, Karen and Craig, and the late Megan, and Brent. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather of Joshua, Matthew, Marcus, Shaun, Brittany, Ryan, Brady, Cory and Bear. Thank you to all the staff at Christchurch hospital and St Albans Medical Centre who provided kind and caring treatment and support to Robert, and thank you to all of his wonderful friends and neighbours who assisted him to live alone in recent years. Messages for the Rasmussen family may be sent to PO Box 26112, Christchurch, 8148. In keeping with Bob’s wishes a private family gathering and cremation has been held.
