Peacefully at home with his family on Wednesday 29 March 2023, aged 91. Most dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy. Dearly loved and respected father and father-in-law of Patricia De Zoete, Terry (dec) and Jocelyn, Mark and Karen, Cathy Mackay, Paul and Sue, and Christine and Peter Moffitt. Treasured Pop and Poppa of Scott, Wendy; Micaelle, Christopher; Nicole, Gemma; Lisa (dec), Michael (dec), Tom; James, Isabella, Rosie; and their partners and Great-Poppa of Cordell, Rhys, Stefan, Portia, and Charlie. Requiem Mass for Maurice will be celebrated at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Monday 3 April 2023 at 10.30am.
