ORLOWSKI, Betty (nee Pope)

At Clare House, Invercargill, on Friday, March 24, 2023; long time resident of Joseph Street and more recently Cargill Lifecare Home, in her 93rd year. Loved wife, best friend and soulmate of the late Kevin. Dearly loved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother of Kevin and Mary, Adam and Daniel; Vicki and Peter, Timothy and Samuel; Karen and Neville, Amy and Brad; Bryan and Michelle, Hannah, Mitchell and Brayden; and Dianne (deceased). Great-grandmother of Liam and Alfie, Elaine, Lachlan and Charlie, and Carter. Loved sister of Peter and the late Marlene Pope and aunty to their children. In accordance with Betty’s wishes a private cremation will be held followed by a family service at a later date. Sincere thanks to the staff at Cargill, Southland Hospital Rehabilitation Ward and Clare House for their care and kindness over the last 2 months in particular.
