CLEVELY, Hazel (nee Burch)

On 23 March 2023 in Waikanae, aged 82 years, Hazel passed away surrounded by love. Much loved and loyal wife of Barry, and the best mum and mother-in-law in the world to Amanda and Davide Rutten, Sarah and Patrick Breen, and Penelope and the late Dave Bowman. Adored grandma of Jessica and Luke, Kieran, Lucy, Hamish, Daniel, and Zac. Treasured daughter and stepdaughter of Dorrie and Hugh Burch, and Stanley Dyason (Poppa). Cherished sister and sister-in law to the late Lynda and Frank Alpe, Barbara and Bill Aldridge, and sister of her late brother John Burch. Loved sister-in-law to Kaye and Bob Bell. Wonderful aunt and great-aunt, a second mum to many, and a true friend for life for those who knew her. A service to celebrate Hazel’s remarkable journey through life will be held at Cedarwood at the Waikanae Funeral Home, 17 Parata St, Waikanae, on Saturday 1 April 2023 at 12.00pm, followed by burial at Awa Tapu Cemetery, Valley Road, Paraparaumu.
