SHANKS, Susan Eleanor

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, aged 69 years. Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Tim and Narelle, and the late Ryan, special Gran to Hayley and Leighton, loved daughter of the late Bill and Joan Shanks (Mataura), loved twin sister of Mary Murray (Mataura), loved sister and sister-in-law of Ian and Wendy Shanks (Gore), and the late Kenneth, much loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews and their extended families, very special friend of Wendy Matheson. Thanks to Hospice Southland and Albany House Gore, for their loving care of Susan. A service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Saturday, March 25, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.
