Death

Passed away on 20 March 2023 with family at his side at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 86 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat, happily married for 62 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of John and Julia, and treasured grandfather (Bomber) of Alex, and of his great-grandchildren Chase and Aria. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Kevin and Jane, Noelle and Graham (UK), Tony and Chris (UK), and Gordon and Dot (both deceased). Loved uncle of Dawn, Paul, Rob, Katie, Emma, Liam and Alan, and great-uncle to Belinda, Maddie, Joanne and Marie. Dear friend of Ken and Stella (deceased). All of Bert’s many friends who enriched his life are invited to join the family in a Service to celebrate Bert’s life to be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 56 Weraroa Rd, Levin, on Friday, 24th March 2023 at 1.30pm, followed by a private interment at The Avenue Lawn Cemetery, Levin.
