HOPWOOD, Diane Eri (nee Heath)

Passed away peacefully, after a courageous journey, at Hospice Southland, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Doug. Precious and adored mother and mother-in-law of Debbie and Darren Vaeluaga (Christchurch), Julie (Inver.), and Gary and Ronda (Christchurch). Loved and cherished Nana of Bradly and Keegan; Bayley and Rory, and Nadya. Loved daughter of the late Ron and Eri Heath. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Murray and Ann and the late Shirley, Stuart and Lynette, Jennifer and Roger, Helen and Bob. Family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Hospice Southland for their devoted care of Diane and her family, and her special friends for their love and friendship over the years. A Celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10.00am, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A private interment at Riverton Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service for Hospice Southland.
