LEWIS, Barbara (nee Keen)
Of Hastings (formerly of Wellington and England), passed away peacefully, in her 97th year, on March 7, 2023, enveloped in the love and care of family and friends. Beloved wife of ‘Lew’ and sister of Ernest (both deceased), James (deceased), Michael, Pat (deceased), Brenda, and Yvonne. A “better than your average aunt” to her many nieces and nephews and their children. Our heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Duart House, Havelock North, for their care and compassion during Barbara’s short stay with them. According to Barbara’s wishes, she has been cremated privately. In lieu of a formal funeral service, a gathering to celebrate and remember Barbara will be held at a later date. Please contact Megan for further information about this (65meg@hotmail.co.nz).
